As a service provider system, the principal output is related to the completion of the service offered. This service can either be pick up and/or delivery of garments. What are we looking to accomplish? Reduce hassle and increase service satisfaction for our customers.

A short description of the system in terms of people and/organizations interacting: The dry cleaning pick up and delivery system – or Dry Cleaner at your Door- is an organization that provides a delivery service to dry cleaners to pick up a variety of clothes from users location, and then proceed to drop it off to cleaners location. When the clothes are clean and ready, the assigned driver picks them up from the location of the cleaners and delivers them to their user’s location. Naturally this logic won’t always prevail as it will depend on each specific case and how they will want to handle each customer (i.e. the customer might pick the clothes directly from the store, or the client takes the clothes directly to the cleaner but asks for them to be delivered). The system is intended to optimize route and customer management for garments pick up and delivery. The service also allows clients to have the option to choose the dates and times they expect their clothes to be picked up and delivered. It provides users with a platform of different options of participating cleaners including their listing price ranges and reviews. The proposed system is a societal system and it is considered to be a subsystem that is part of a bigger dry cleaning service system. However, as explained, it works as an autonomous organization that offers the defined service.
