I don’t understand this Accounting question and need help to study.
The WorldCom and Enron accounting scandal involved the firm classifying operating expenses as capital investments. Discuss the impact on Enron and WorldCom’s operating cash flow and their overall cash position. Did the financial statements contain any clues that could have warned investors of the fraud?
Might there be broader market implications from Enron’s failure? And could the Enron debacle have Been Prevented?

This assignment will be one of several throughout the Ph.D. program that we use to help you prepare for the dissertation process. One of the core competencies necessary to succeed in a doctoral program is the ability to identify other research that pertains to your own. This means you’ll have to identify related research, read the papers, and assimilate prior work into your research. An annotated bibliography helps you develop and hone these research skills.
The paper must be in a correct APA format, use correct grammar, and will need to include at least five (5) resources, ALL of which must:
1) Be current. Published within the last few years.
2) Be peer-reviewed.
3) Relate directly to enterprise risk management in the context of either developing, assessing, or implementing an ERM program.
Remember that an annotation is not the same as an abstract. Abstracts are descriptive. Your annotations are to be evaluative and critical. Give me enough information for me to decide if I’m interested enough to read the paper, and also how you perceive the paper. Do not go skimpy on these annotations, but DO NOT write too much here. Quality is far more critical than quantity. This exercise is for each of you to demonstrate that you can identify, categorize, and digest multiple research papers.
The resources you choose must be peer-reviewed. That means the paper must have undergone a formal peer review before being published in a journal or presented at a conference. You must ensure that your resources have undergone rigorous reviews. In most cases, you can find out the review process for a conference or journal by visiting the appropriate web site. Do not merely assume that a resource is peer-reviewed – check it out.

RESPOND TO THIS STUDENT 50-100 WORDS. Information type: transaction and analytical “Transactional information encompasses all of the information contained within a single business process or unit of work, and its primary purpose is to support daily operational tasks. Transactional information is needed to be captured by organizations to perform operational tasks and repetitive decisions. Analytical information encompasses all organizational information, and its primary purpose is to support the performance of managerial analysis tasks. Analytical information is useful when making important decisions such as whether the organization should build a new manufacturing plant or hire additional sales personnel” (Baltzan, Phillips, 2016). Information timeliness Informational timeliness depends on the organization and their need. Some organizations rely on real time tinformation, which is up to date and immediate and some may require data accessed via real time systems which response to request. Information quality For organizations to prevent information inconsistency and integrity issues, organizations should have five characteristics in there in their data. These characteristics are accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and uniqueness. Information governance “The Information Governance Initiative (2018), a US-based think-tank, describes IG as “the activities and technologies that organizations employ to maximise the value of their information while minimizing associated risks and costs” (Julie, 2019). Organizations will minimize risk and cost by ensuring staff and all involved within the organization follow policies and procedures set in place. The information policy will manage how data will be accessed, managed, updated, etc. Baltzan, Paige, Phillips, Amy (2016). Business Driven Information Systems (5th ed.) New York, NY: McGraw-Hill.
