As the Security Director for the National Art Museum in NYC, you have been asked to meet with the Board of Directors to review your plan for protecting the museum during the annual fundraiser event next month, which occurs after business hours. Here is what you need to know. The Board insists that the museum remain open to the public the day of the event. The event will be catered and have live music entertainment with event staff entering 1 hour prior to the museum closing. Patrons must have tickets to enter, but they can purchase them anytime, including upon arrival at the event.
Using all three articles (Camillo, 2021; DeMario & Balestrieri, 2021; Triantafyllou, 2021) at least once to support your ideas, create a plan to: a.) ensure that all museum guests have left the museum by close of business; b) provide secured access of museum and event workers (e.g., museum employees, security personnel, caterers, and musicians) to the staging area; and c) check the tickets of the fundraiser patrons. Also specify the tasks you will assign to security personnel and how they will be trained to handle this event.
N.B. My expectations include that you will provide answers consistent with the readings (see Announcement providing information on how to use and cite information).
