Continue your UDL Playbook this week by completing the final section. Begin by explaining the principle of action and expression and its significance to teaching and learning. Describe how this principle has implications for curriculum and instruction.
Detail a minimum of three instructional strategies for each specified area (at least one strategy out of the nine must involve the use of technology):
Setting goals and using learning targets
Tracking progress toward goals and/or learning targets
Communicating knowledge and skills
Then, write a scenario of a lesson where action and expression were not considered; and then, rewrite the scenario (same lesson content, teacher, and students) where the principle of action and expression was practiced. Your scenario should paint a picture of what was done differently and how it facilitated students’ development and communication of their knowledge and skills. You are not designing a lesson, but rather telling a story about a segment of a lesson (for example, the launch, working session, or closure). You may use the template included in this week’s resources to help you format your playbook.
Length: The third section of the UDL Playbook (3 pages). All components of the template should be included, but the design may be your own.

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course.
