Project Name: IBM Storage Order Tracking DatabaseBusiness Scenario: Audrey works for IBM Storage and they are in need of a better database for their orders that has less data redundancy and is easier to use for all of the different divisions involved with the ordering process.Description: This database must store all of the order information about the different IBM Storage products, customers, and sales representative employees. Some of the key information that must be stored is all of the transactional dates such as the order date and shipment date, the costs of all of the products, transactions and overall revenue and the geographies that the customers are in where the transactions are occurring. People / Users: The key people / users of this database are the sales representatives inputting orders, the manufacturing and supply management group determining the production and shipment amounts, the product managers and executives that are monitoring the revenue and success of each product and the pricing team owning the sales prices of all of the individual products.Background / Backstory: While our team will not use IBM Storage’s actual revenue numbers due to confidentiality, this is actually a project that Audrey is assigned to in her job today. Currently the manufacturing data is siloed from the sales data and the IBM Storage team struggles to understand the actual orders and transactions that occur to glean further product insights into how their customers order their products and configure the systems.Describe the business requirements (what kinds of information your client would like to track by using the database).client is IBM storage
