Tiya, This assessment submission proves that is would have benefited you to be in class more often. Part A of this assessment requires a lot more detail. Please refer to the template on student web for this unit – this is what needs to be completed with detailed information for part A. Please also ensure you use the link provided in the assessment as this will direct you to a number of licences that you are required to list.

You seem to have also changed the layout of the assessment which is making it very unclear and difficult for me to mark. Questions 2, 3 and 4 for part A are not answered sufficiently.

Q2 – you need to use the Victorian Commission of Gambling and Liquor website to research and then tell me the exact process to follow in order to extend the hours of the liquor licence.

Q3 – I do not need an explanation of risk management. You are required to provide a list of areas that require provisions for risk managements and explain these. Risk management means putting control measures in place to reduce the risk of noncompliance.

Q4 – Again, I do not need explained to me what legal advice is but instead I need you to tell me all the areas that you may source legal advice for as a business owner. Eg, contract, licencing etc etc

Part B asks you to develop policies and procedures.

Q1 should be 2 policies, 1 for food standards 3.2.2. Division 4, Sub 1 and one for food standards 3.2.2. Division 4, Sub 1 and 2.

Q2 – you must develop a policy and procedure to show compliance with the Food act at state and local levels. Use the Victorian food act and look up food safety requirements for restaurants on the Port Phillip Council website

Q3 – again you must develop a policy and procedure to show compliance with liquor licencing. Ensure you use the Victorian Commission of Gambling and Liquor website again. Signage, RSA register, providing water – everything must be included

Q4 – which for some reason is not listed as question 3 for your assessment (use the assessment document to answer questions) – Tax and super – this should not be based on NZ as we are in Australia. Use the ATO website. Table format may also assist you. I need exact dates that you as an employer would pay your BAS and any penalties for not doing so…same with super.

Q5 – this has 2 parts

1st part – EEO policy and procedure.

2nd part – list all 10 NES and explain next to each how you as an employer would abide by these.

Q6 – you need to create an anti bullying and harassment policy. We have done so many policies that you should know by now that this needs to include, policy name, aim, procedure, rights and responsibilities, hierarchy of persons responsibly, support forms, version control. (this is all listed there on the assessment too)

Part C – again very jumbled and hard for me to follow. There are 5 questions regarding compliance and your answers should be under each. You have numbers that go 1, 3, 4.
