Learning Goal: I’m working on a data analytics question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.A reminder that the submission needs to be a Packaged Tableau Workbook. To create one, go to FILE and select EXPORT PACKAGED WORKBOOK.Instructions:This is an individual assignment.1. Using the final dashboard Prototype you created in Assignment #1, select 2 – 3 visual analysis elements that are most important to your end user. Feel free to consult back with your end user if this wasn’t clear in your Usability Test.2. Determine which chart/graph/table type you intend to use in your dashboard to visualize a specific activity measure and how it will illustrate performance to your user.3. Based on your understanding of Tableau’s “dimension and measure” requirements for the data visualizations you selected, create a mock data set in MS Excel that would represent the fields, elements and records captured for each area of your end user’s healthier lifestyle analysis • e.g. activity distance, activity time start and end, activity details, vital sign data like BPM, BMI, happiness event tracking etc.4. Make sure that you have a sufficient number of rows (records) >200 rows (approx 6 months of daily data collected) to power each data viz. Because this is a performance improvement dashboard an activity trend analysis over time will be required and with one year’s worth of data, annual, monthly, weekly and daily views can be calculated and visualized. 5. Load your mock data table into Tableau and create a sheet for each visual analysis element and then assemble and design 1 dashboard that presents those elements together in one display.6. Format the dashboard as if you were creating a full screen display with titles, images, and other content features that make your dashboard clear and understandable to your end user. Be sure to set your layout to Automatic.7. Add meaningful dynamic features like filters and tooltips to make the dashboard interactive and intuitive to navigate and use8. Use colour wisely!!9. Remember to run an 8 Second “Goldfish” Test for each of visual analysis element on your dashboard. If you can’t understand the key Analytical message of your own graph/chart in under 8 seconds, your audience will likely not either.Marking Schema:Total = 25 Marks3 Marks: Create a relevant, quality controlled mock data source of > 200 rows. Note that all fields included in the data source must be used in your Sheet and Dashboard construction.8 Marks: Data viz elements are analytically correct and finalized in labelled Sheets6 Marks: A complete full screen (not mobile) formatted performance analysis dashboard that includes a formal title and clear chart titles8 Marks: Performance Design Clarity and Aesthetics: Use of colour to emphasize analysis, filters, tooltips, target lines, calculated measures, conditional formating, layout, flow/hierarchy*The prototype created by me will be provided once the tutor is assigned.
