For switches and Routers complete the following:

• Configure the device name to be Student Name-DevIceName. (ie. Salman-R1/Salmon,S1)

For the Switches:

• Configure three VLANs and assign IPva to the interfaces. Two vtANs for data and one for management. Do not use the Default VtAN

• Assign the ports to the Correct VLAN.

• Configure the Trunk to the Routers this should be setup as a router on a stick configuration.

 

For the Router:

• Add the VtAhts to the routers configuration.

• Configure the Trunk to the switch, this should be setup as a router on a stick configuration.

• Configure DHCP Relays for the interfaces For PCs

• Setup One Server and setup DHCP for IPva

• Setup three PCs on each VLAN and make sure they can connect to the network through DHCP.

• Apply proper Acts. Setup one PC that can access the management VLAN. None of the other PC should have access to the Management VLAN
