Below are five (5) basic nursing informatics concepts that need to be explained in a paper. Your paper should be written in APA format and should be no more than 6-7 pages.
These 6-7 pages includes the title page, abstract page, body of the paper and references page.
All five assessments need to be answered. Write 200 to 300 words for each basic skills assessment.
Be sure to write an introductory paragraph describing the purpose of your paper. You actually need to write: “The purpose of this paper is…” (Remember, in APA the heading “Introduction” is never used in the introductory paragraph)
Be sure you use headings for each skills assessment.
Write at least one reference for each assessment. Each assessment is worth five points for a total of 25 points for the total assignment.

Choose a scholarly search engine for a nursing research assignment. Briefly describe its features and why it is appropriate for your research.
2) Informatics in Nursing Practice
Choose one area in your nursing practice in which informatics is used in patient care. Specify one advantage and one disadvantage of using informatics in this scenario.
3) Computer Application Used to Guide Evidence Based Practice
Identify one computer application that can be used to guide evidence based practice in nursing and explain.
4) Interdiciplinary Communication
Give one example on how computer technology can be used to promote interdisciplinary communication among healthcare providers.
5) Mobile Technology
Give one example of how mobile technology has been used at the point of care to help nurses improve patient outcomes.
