Magic square puzzles have intrigued people for hundreds of years. A magic square puzzle is an arrangement of numbers in the shape of a square. The number of rows and columns are required to be identical, and the sum of each vertical column, horizontal row, and diagonal to be equal. The Chinese were given credit for creating the magic square. Today, magic square puzzles can be seen in math tournaments and other venues for recreational mathematics.
