After doing the Windshield survey, students are to identify an area of concern for the population
that lives in the area. Students should answer the question: What would increase daily resident
well-being in this area? In a paper, no 8-10 pages, students will propose a community strategy
(found in Chapter 10) to address this need. In this paper, students should:
1. Identify an issue of concern in the community.
o Describe how completing the windshield assessment aided in your understanding of
the problem.

3. Identify a community strategy and describe how it might be implemented.
o Find and discuss at least two research articles in social work journals that support the
use of this strategy or suggests ways to address the problem mentioned. (Examples of

4. Identify an evaluation plan that demonstrates how you will know that your solution plan

Double-space and use New Times Roman 12 font.
6. Combine Part 1 & 2 when submitting your assignment.
