Identify an area of conflict within the United States that you feel you would like to be more active in promoting positive change that have been discussed throughout the course (e.g., education, the military, and politics). Note that a spectrum of possibilities exists when considering an area for personal activism or allyship. Be purposeful in identifying an area where you believe you can engage.
Identify a sociological theory which you will use as a lens to your analysis and explain why this theory embodies your critique and how you interpret this conflict.

Research the history of the culture, assimilation, and ethnic factors that relate to your chosen conflict.
Discuss the behaviors that have dominated the groups who seek change through this conflict/movement.
Share an image that you feel embodies the movement and critique how and why.
Evaluate the possible ways that you can positively engage in the conflict, supporting transformation of the matrix of race and more inclusive and equitable standards.
Include whether you feel you would be an ally or activist.
List your goals for participating in the selected conflict transformation.
