This is a college essay that I will be using to submit an application to Rutgers University (New Brunswick). The recommended length is maximum of 500 words. I provided a photo with the prompts selection, you can either choose a different prompt to answer or just go with the topic that I picked. I’ll provide additional information about my character too if that helps since this is a personal essay. I’m passionate about science, thus why I am looking to get a Nursing or a degree in the Science field. I am also really interested in the Business field as well. I want my essay to be focused on my gap year and achievements despite the effects of the Covid-19 emotionally and academically. I’ve worked jobs- cake decorator, customer service, online buy and sell business but things started to brighten even more around May 2021 when I purchased a used PC set worth of $500 where I modified it without any cost and was able to resell it almost thrice the price. That’s when I started my online buy and sell part-time business where I buy , modify and resell electronic devices. (Emphasize my technical and business skill in any way possible haha) Then put how I managed to make about $10k in a couple of months and these continued profits allowed me to invest more, travel and do other things on my gap year. I’ve traveled to experience new things and meet new people-went to Philippines( which is my native country), Florida, Texas, Las Vegas, California and Costa Rica. (Just add any cliché or inspiring words about meeting new people and experiencing new cultures etc.) Add how this experiences helped me to become more cultivated, sociable, independent, enthusiastic and etc. Just make it catchy, interesting and unique.
