The research is going to highlight the issue of the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) in the context of emission of the GreenHouse Gas Performance. In the recent context, the organisations are the major sources of the emission of the Greenhouse gases. This study focuses on the different issues in the natural elements because of the excessive emission of the greenhouse gases. The greenhouse effect on the earth temperature is the most discussed and the unavoidable part of every country. Now, day by day, different organisations are taking steps for bringing control on the usages of the greenhouse gases (Armour et al. 2017). Then, in the most of the times, do not want to compromise their activities, which cause the maximum discharge of the greenhouse gases. Now, for the sake of the earth temperature and changes in nature, the organisations need to measure their activities, which result in the discharge of the greenhouse gases. The research is going to be done on the activities of CDP with the special reference to the agency theory to understand the activities of the organisations measuring their activities.

Practical Motivation

The measurement of the emission of the greenhouse gases has become the prior activities for the organisations. Through the data gathered from the online response system of Carbon Disclosure Project, it is notable that most of the activities of the organisations have become the major reason for the emergence of the greenhouse gases in nature. As per CDP, it is necessary for all the organisations to stay informed about the measurement of the production of the greenhouse gases. CDP has reported that the organisations face the barriers mostly in the field of agents, involved in the organisations. For the measurement of the usages of them. greenhouse gases, it is necessary to have advisory guidelines to measure. Carbon Disclosure Project suggests the organisations to disclose the documents about the emission of the greenhouse gases by them. The main issue is that the conflicts between the principles of the organisations and the agents, involved in the business. The importance of the study lies in the importance for finding the solution for the organizations to establish the relationship between the principles of the companies and the agents for the companies in the light of CDP, using Agency theory (Barker and Chiu 2014).
