Overview:
To deepen and expand the frontiers of knowledge and your ability to apply the
course skills in a practical context, a research paper is required. The project
could involve a complete country and banking system analysis of a country or
group of countries using the course framework. You could also choose from a
menu of project options offered by us, or choose your own project topic.
If you want to follow the case analysis
method, you will identify the problem, provide a rationale for your diagnosis;
followed by a listing of at least two solutions, courses of actions and finally
a consideration of which course you prefer and why. It is crucial that you do
not only describe the content of the solution but also specify the process for
arriving at the ideal end state. In either scenario, you are to identify your
preferred interventions covering aspects of both content and process.
Your research paper should follow a
methodology and when possible include analysis of data. The specific topic is
to be discussed and approved by the course leader. Academic type footnotes or
end notes convention are required and the paper must be accompanied by a
bibliography.
