Write a final reflective essay (750-1000 + words) discussing what you have learned about leadership through the books in this course. (The books are The Odyssey, Hamlet, Antigone, Oedipus the King) What have you learned about people, leadership, and life? What virtues are necessary for a leader? What vices should a leader avoid? What particular lessons do you think are relevant to a Christian leader? Try to formulate a thesis that encapsulates what you have learned that uses scripture to back up your points.
Be specific about what aspects of the book have influenced you and how. For example, sometimes a book presents us with positive examples to emulate and other times it presents us with negative examples. Try to include something from each of the books read in the course. Use MLA citation for paraphrases and quotations.
