1. In your own words, discuss what is meant by the term “ethics”. Based on your current understanding provide at least one example of the application of ethics in a “real-world” business application.
2. This course is titled “Business Ethics”, do you feel there is a difference when defining business versus personal ethics? A simple yes/no will not suffice, support your answer. ( Example: if you feel they are not the same then write a compare/contrast justification. You will find information on writing a compare/contrast essay under the Resource Tab/Useful links for this course. A complete essay would not be required for this assignment, however, the information provided in the link should be useful for those not familiar with the concept of compare/contrast when writing.)
3. Briefly explain why you feel it is important for business students to study ethics. Provide a personal example of a business situation you have encountered where you were treated unethically. (This does not need to be a long explanation, just a brief statement)
4. Briefly describe the evolution of the development of the study of business ethics and what circumstances you feel created the need for the training.
