Thesis – what is changing? Social geography? Business owner/worker relations?
Connections of culture (especially religion) to the economy, society?
Prompt: What was the author’s thesis? How and why did religion play a central role in society? How does this knowledge impact your ideas and influences your perspective of social responsibility (to include intercultural competence, knowledge of civic responsibility, and the ability to engage effectively in regional, national, and global communities) and personal responsibility (to include the ability to connect choices, actions, and consequences to ethical decision-making).
