The impact of street-level bureaucrats’ discretion on policy implementation is paradoxical given that it enables flexibility and innovation while it also makes possible indifference and abuse (Wright et al., 2020Actions ). Based on your understanding, complete the following tasks:

10 points for the example and 10 points for demonstrating how discretion creates policy flexibility/innovation AND indifference/abuse.
10 points for your suggestion regarding bureaucrats’ discretion.
10 points for the general essay requirements, including at least 1 APA citation, word count, and the font/spacing format.
A late essay will be accepted for up to 3 calendar days after its original due date. A penalty of 5 points will be deducted from your total score for each day after the assignment is due within a 3-calendar-day-window. No late submission will be accepted after then.
