Learning Goal: I’m working on a software engineering multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.Topic: Female MaladyInstructions below:Sources must be 1 Page Each1) Identify your paper topic and thesis statement AFTER reading your Course Paper Assignment Sheet @Research Paper 2) compile an annotated bibliography on one (or more) aspects of GENDER AND LITERATURE we are studying in this course using the instructions below: DUE MARCH 4Annotated Bibliography You may use any text (ONE or TWO if you are doing a comparison paper) published in the last 10 years to yield a literary reading that you are/have not used in another class. You are free to choose any text/s as long as they TIE to ONE or MORE aspects of the readings in our coursework. Be creative in choosing a text that has not been overly researched and written about (done to death :).This bibliography will contain a minimum of five entries, on SECONDARY SOURCES, each of which will give full bibliographical information as well as a few substantial paragraphs detailing the substance and importance of the specific text/ theme you are attempting to analyze (which must be a book, essay in a book, or journal article: you may use the internet to locate textual sources, but the actual sources cannot be websites like blogs). Since there are literally thousands of sources for each of the themes/topics/ figures/tropes we have learned, you need to devise a way to focus your research, preferably in a way that reflects this course’s emphasis on these texts. I welcome readings that link texts we have studied to cultural/ political aspects of contemporary gender issues– as long as it is linked to some aspect on our syllabus, which you must make very clear in your thesis statement. You may begin your bibliography with your tentative thesis statement (your claim). You may, of course, change this for your final paper if you so desire. Please remember to consult the sample entry on Roland Barthes’ The Fashion System that I have provided you @ sample annotated bib.pdf Download sample annotated bib.pdfNo doubt, I will grade this assignment with a critical eye because the result of this task will demonstrate your ability to conduct academic research (and your capacity to score a good grade!). Remember to read critically and engage with your sources (DO NOT USE PRIMARY SOURCES IN THIS ASSIGNMENT). Both scholars whose work you find informative and useful and critics you disagree with can help you to sharpen and refine your own line of thought. Good luck!
