Attached are two csv files with some data regarding countries and their world happiness scores:
2019.csv and 2021.csv
The task is to import these csv files into python so they can be read and then used.
The first task is to display the 2019 and the 2021 data in neatly arranged tables. The code must give the user an option of using either requesting to see the table of either the 2019 or 2021 data and then after returning that table, give the user the option of seeing the other table.
– Please note that the essential columns in the 2019.csv that need to be returned in the table are overall country or region, score, GDP per capita, Social support, Healthy life expectancy, Freedom to make life choices, Generosity, and Perceptions of corruption.
– Please note that essential columns in the 2021.csv that need to be returned in the table are Country name, Ladder score, Logged GDP per capita, Social support, Healthy life expectancy ,Freedom to make life choices, Generosity, and Perceptions of corruption.
– In both files, the “overall country or region” in 2019 is the same as the “country name” in 2021, and the “score” in 2019 is the same as the “ladder score” in 2021.
The next task is to return to the user the top five countries in every category : Overall score, GDP per capita, Social support, Healthy life expectancy, Freedom to make life choices, Generosity, and Perceptions of corruption. This should be displayed in a well organized table as well using pandas.
The next task is to look at the change in these categories (Overall score, GDP per capita, Social support, Healthy life expectancy, Freedom to make life choices, Generosity, and Perceptions of corruption) between 2019 and 2021.
– This should be done asking the user for a country and then delivering the change in value for each category. For example Finland had an overall score of 7.769 in 2019 and an overall score of 7.842 in 2021. The code should return that the overall happiness score went up 0.073. If the score went down the code should return that the score went down in that category and give the numerical amount of the decrease. The code should return the change for every category for the country (Overall score, GDP per capita, Social support, Healthy life expectancy, Freedom to make life choices, Generosity, and Perceptions of corruption)
The code should now do a simple calculation of the average in every category (Overall score, GDP per capita, Social support, Healthy life expectancy, Freedom to make life choices, Generosity, and Perceptions of corruption) in 2019 and in 2021 and create a graphs depicting the mean of every category in 2019 and in 2021 demonstrating either a decrease or an increase.
