Write a one page paper (in English) explaining in your own words how to conjugate regular present tense -ar, -er, and -ir verbs in Spanish. Your paper should be double spaced, using Times New Roman 12 point font. You should include at least 4 example sentences of conjugated verbs in Spanish.
Remember, an infinitive is the most basic form of a verb. It has not be changed or altered in any way. Infinitives in Spanish always end in -ar, -er, and -ir. When we conjugate an infinitive, that means we are changing the verb to match a subject. For example, in English, an example of an infinitive may be “to run”. If I want to say that I do this activity, then I would say “I run”, I dropped the “to”, so I changed the infinitive. If I want to say he does this activity, it would become “He runs”. I dropped the “to” and added an “s”, so I conjugated the verb. Click on the notes below and watch the presentations to review present tense conjugations for regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs in Spanish.
