This is a summary based on the allada paper 8 article in which I provided. The paper outline is like a guide that can be useful in helping you construct paragraphs. The rubric which is the last file I provided is how my professor is going to be grading each paragraph.
In writing this summary, my professor suggests that writing the summary write it as if you are writing a story as along as you write in order of the paper in which the paper outline I provided to you has the order in which the article presents the results from start to finish. Also, make sure when writing the summary you DO NOT COPY from the article nor use no quotations just your own words. When you talk about genes/mutants/per gene its italicized however when we talk about proteins its Capitalized. In this summary, be specific and having an in depth analysis of whats going on. Te paper can’t go over 4 pages or it wont be graded.

Introduction
You start with discussing the broad topic. Next comes the specific topic. Then the whats known. Finally, you end the introduction with the experimental question in which you make that to a statement. With that said, the paper outline I provided, it gives you each category except the whats known. With the whats known, you have to read the introduction of the article paper 8 Allada. Also, with the whats known you can’t write anything that summary is gonna be studying. The whats known is like backgroung information. (take note of the rubric on how he will grade the introduction paragraph.
Results
When writing each body paragraph, you start with the question(s)in which that figure/table is addressing. Next, comes the why they need to address that question. Then, comes the how which is the methods used in the figure/table to help address that question. Then, you put the results which is what they found to help in the study. Last, you put the conclusion. In that order is how you are supposed to write each body paragraph. However, using the paper outline as you read the article can be useful. Looking at the results, each figure consists of parts therefore some parts have the same question and some don’t which is why you need to read the article. And if you look at the outline, I give help out which figures/tables have the same question( table 2/figure 4a have the SAME question also). Also, if you read the rubric you will see how he grades each paragraph in the results in that format order.
Discussion
The first half you are discussing what the results mean in which you have to read the discussion of paper 8 article becuase it starts discussing what the results mean. The second half is the discuusion in which is overall in which paper 8 gets in more details. So its important read the discussion of paper 8 article.
When writing this paper, it can consist alot of details so if you want to concise some information you have to make connections through the question being asked in which they have to be the SAME. Make sure the grammar and wording isgood too. Its important that you read the article so you can have an understanding!
