For this Multimodal Remix, you are going to create a visual representation of your Researched Argument Essay. In other words, I would like you to reproduce/ remediate/remix the most important arguments, supporting details, and research from your Researched Argument Essay. Ideally, this Multimodal Remix will be one page – either an infographic or a poster. However, if you would like to create a slideshow, I would ask that it be no longer than three slides. Essentially, your audience should be able to understand the most important ideas from your argument at a quick glance. You can incorporate images, audio, and video if you like.
The design you choose, the ideas and research you include, and the tone you use should all align with the purpose and audience of your Researched Argument Essay. Furthermore, you may choose from a variety of platforms: Canva, Microsoft SWAY, PowerPoint, Prezi, or Google Slides would all work. If there is another platform for creating digital posters or infographics with which you are familiar, feel free to use it. Whichever platform you use, you’ll need to save and submit it as either a PDF or an MP4.
