Choose one of the following questions/topics below and defend, challenge, or qualify a position using specific evidence from the novel (at least two per body paragraph) to support your assertion as it pertains to Victor’s character development and relating it to a thematic statement.
Each response should include the following:
1. INTRODUCTION: 1-2 sentences responding to the prompt and indicating the theme you are focusing on in your analysis.
2. Body Paragraphs 1&2: Each should contain a topic sentence supporting the thesis statement, followed by two examples containing text evidence and commentary for each piece of evidence (THINK two AECs).
3. CONCLUSION:1-2 sentences – Revisit your thesis in a new way and state your main points.

Is Victor’s creation of the creature objective (completely outside of him) or subjective (arising from within)? Given your response, does it make his efforts “evil” or justified?
