Please write two paragraphs about Playstation’s innovation and success. No references are required. Project outline is below.
Introduction
/ History of Sony PlayStation:
The
Sony PlayStation is in millions of homes worldwide, being released in Japan in
December 1994 it did not make its debut until nine months later in North
America. The release of the PlayStation achieved critical acclaim with
impressive sales. In 2005, PlayStation was the first console to ship 100
million units. Before this, the first PlayStation resulted from a failed
partnership between with Nintendo back in 1991. Through time, the Sony
PlayStation has evolved to meet consumer needs and wants through various
innovations and intrapreneurial abilities from the organization’s employees.
This
evening we will take you through the intrapreneurial project of the
PlayStation, a critique, an assessment of the project, and the best practices
our team has determined that should be applied to future intrapreneurial
projects, along with our conclusion on the case study of the Sony PlayStation.
Intrapreneurial Project. Summarize the
intrapreneurial project from its inception to its conclusion, including how it
was defined,
analyzed, and implemented. Capture the point of view of the intrapreneur as
much as possible.
Competitiveness in the Market: Can we include a competition
component, what drove them to reinvent themselves, and where they stand now
(perhaps the latter in the Assessment section).
