In this paper, you will be pretending to be members of the United States Senate, debating the Indian Removal Act. Your role will be assumed by the first letter of your last name, as you will see on the paper assignment sheet (below). Your job is to take on the role of a United States Senator or a member of the Cherokee Indian delegation to the United States and debate the following question: should the United States authorize the removal of all Indians west of the Mississippi River?
Since my last name starts with an F, you will need to write the paper playing the role of a Pro-Removal activist. (The character role is in the assignment sheet attached.)
