completed presentation must include a minimum of 8 slides and a
maximum of 12 slides.
Save the file
as Original – your name
Change the
theme to an appropriate theme of your choice. Use only one theme and
do NOT choose a theme used in one of the other files for this
assignment.
Follow the 7×7
rule when adding text to the presentation: this means that no slide
should have more than seven lines of text (including the title), and
no line of text should have more than seven words.
Use short,
bulleted phrases rather than complete sentences.
Do not include
paragraphs or other large blocks of text on any slide.
The first slide
should be a title slide with an appropriate title describing the
topic. Add your name to the subtitle placeholder, with the course
name (CSC118 Computer Applications I) under your name.
At least one
slide should include a bulleted list that uses multiple bullet
levels appropriately.
Add appropriate
pictures to at least 6 slides.
Remember to use
pictures that you own or have permission to use
You may choose
pictures from the Office.com Clipart gallery available through the
Online Pictures tool on the Insert ribbon in PowerPoint. See page
PPT 75 in PowerPoint textbook chapters for more details.
Size and
position each picture appropriately for the slide where the picture
appears. You may wish to use the cropping tools and other formatting
options that are presented in the textbook as well.
Make sure that
all photos in the presentation are compressed appropriately for
e-mail (page PPT 94) to ensure that your PowerPoint file is not too
large to submit to the online drop box.
Remember to use
corners to resize images so that they do not appear distorted or
stretched.
Add at least
one SmartArt diagram to a slide that has appropriate content that
goes with the topic.
Include speaker
notes on at least three slides in the presentation.
Add your name
to the handout footers.
Run spell check
and proofread for errors that spell check may not find.
