Consider your experience with the Zamboni online negotiation. Write a 2–3-page, double-spaced paper explaining (1) What was your default negotiation approach when you tried the simulation? How well did that work? and (2) What one thing did you learn from working through the simulation multiple times that made the strongest impression on you for future negotiations? You need to provide adequate detail for each of the two prompts above.
Negotiation skills are probably one of the best skill sets you can invest in. The hope is that giving you a taste for the value of good negotiation skills will inspire you to find other avenues to continue to hone your negotiation skills. For your final project, you will work through this simulation using all of the knowledge you have gained this term. Then, you will write a short reflection paper (see details below) on your experience, save as a PDF and post to this dropbox area.

Follow the 4 steps in order at: http://www.mobusinc.com/game (Links to an external site.) (the fifth is to subscribe to their newsletter, at your discretion)
Remember, you are required to try AT LEAST THREE permutations to see how the sim plays out differently with different options.
Consider your experience with the Zamboni online negotiation. Write a 2–3-page (not including title page), double-spaced reflection paper with 3 sections as outlined below (you MUST use the headers I have included below … meaning I should see the words Section 1: Introduction in your paper followed by a couple of substantial paragraphs based on the prompt provided below, then immediately following your last paragraph of Section 1, I should see the next header, Section 2: Zamboni Experience, with the required number of paragraphs, etc.). I should also see the section subheaders (i.e., Zamboni Reflection) under your Section 3: Reflection header, with the required paragraphs necessary to adequately answer the question prompts.
If you go over the page limit a bit, that is fine – 2-3 pages is a guideline … but you should not be under that amount as you will definitely need at least 2 pages to adequately describe your negotiation choices and outcomes for each of the three required negotiation attempts and to fully address the requirements of the third and final section, Reflection.
First page: Title Page
Second, third, and fourth, etc. pages (no page breaks between headers – this should be one, continuous paper): Bulk of paper with the following headers and required paragraphs under each header
Section 1: Introduction
Briefly describe, in your own words, what a negotiation is. This should be a couple of paragraphs
Section 2: Zamboni Experience
Write three distinct paragraphs detailing the your negotiation approach and the final outcome for each of the three required attempts at the negotiation simulation.
Section 3: Reflection
A section detailing how you will incorporate what you have learned into your future negotiations … be sure to address the following questions (remember, you need to provide adequate detail for each of the two prompts below… so you need a separate paragraph for each prompt (including both bullets under point 2 – one paragraph for the first bullet and one paragraph for the second):
Section Subheader: Zamboni Simulation Reflection
What one thing did you learn from working through the simulation multiple times that made the strongest impression on you for future negotiations? How and why did it impact you?
Section Subheader: 2 Course Reflections
Pick 2 activities you engaged in this semester besides the Zamboni Negotiation Simulation that you feel had an impact on your views of/skill in negotiation. It can be a discussion, a self-reflection activity, or a mini simulation.
In a paragraph, explain why you picked this first activity and how/why it has shaped your views of/skill in negotiation.
In a paragraph, explain why you picked this second activity and how/why it has shaped your views of/skill in negotiation.
