Submit your answers as an attachment (see below for directions on “how to submit an attachment”). And please save your document as a .doc, .docx or .pdf file or you will not be able to submit it.
You will be evaluated on the quality of your answers (i.e. specific details/examples), fulfillment of the assignment requirements (i.e. did you address all the bulleted points above?) and writing style and mechanics.
A Note On Writing Style: You are expected to use proper grammar and writing mechanics in ALL writing assignments. In our culture of “text speak,” at times students will utilize short cuts (e.g. “u” instead of “you”), and fail to use proper capitalization and punctuation and/or write in incomplete sentences. This is not acceptable in our online academic course. In Journal entries and Discussion postings, you can make first person references (e.g. using “I,” “me,” or “we”) because in most of those assignments you will be asked to provide your opinion and/or present a personal reflection given a particular topic. But in most homework assignments or analysis papers (such as this one), you will be asked to provide details/evidence to support claims/arguments, rather than merely providing a belief/opinion/judgment. This type of academic writing is much more formal and you should NOT be using “I,” “me,” or “we” in these assignments (except in the final paragraph where you are providing a personal example). Please feel free to ask questions about these writing expectations if you have any questions or concerns. You will be graded on both writing mechanics and style.
