Per Anderson et al., (2016), linear optimization models can pertain to scheduling, staffing, inventory control, etc. and can therefore enhance the outputs of which. Regarding supply chain efficiency, scheduling can be enhanced by accounting for its related components such as travel time, shipping vessel types and their relative capacities by determining how to best merge those factors. Linear models can benefit staffing by assigning workflow capacities and determining their relative outputs, further strengthening the supply chain. The models can allow for a solid inventory control practice, as past and present needs are considered to create forecasts of future demand. Overall, these three main factors of supply chain networks can be streamlined by the implementation of linear modeling in order to better expect and schedule what is being transported into the desired end result.

Supply chain management has become a hot topic in the last year. With disruptions and backups causing delays, companies are looking for ways to streamline their systems and increase efficiency. Linear optimization models can be used to find solutions. For example, Uzorh and Nnanna (2014) used the modified distribution method to find the optimal solution for the transportation problem, minimizing the total transportation costs for the Coca-Cola company in Nigeria. Garoma and Kitaw (2013) used three models to reduce system-wide costs and improve service levels: pure linear programming, integer programming, and the transportation model. Fixed plants and warehouse costs were looked at using integer programming and linear programming), and the transportation costs of raw materials and the distribution of finished goods were looked at using the transportation model. Together, this model could simultaneously locate multi-plants and warehouses for a company. Finally, Silae, Sawaluddin, and Tulus (2019) provide an example of using a mixed integer linear model to show how to best lower production, transportation, and distribution costs.

It can be challenging to establish and maintain an effective supply chain because it integrates the purchasing, production, transportation, sales, and financial aspects of a company. By applying linear optimization models to managerial strategies, businesses can help improve supply chain performance by making it more lean and agile, generating profits while lowering operational costs. Supply chain network optimization is a quantitative method for determining the ideal arrangement of facilities, warehouses, the flows between them, the allocation of production resources, and other elements within certain parameters. (Malinovskaya, 2021).The transportation of goods and services from various supply locations to various demand locations is a frequent issue that arises during the planning of distribution. The amount of goods that can typically be found at each supply location is limited, and the amount of goods required at each of the various demand locations is predetermined. Typically, reducing the cost of shipping goods from the supply location to the demand destinations is the goal of a transportation problem. (Anderson et al., 2016).

A shortest-route problem finds the shortest route or path between two nodes of a network and usually involves distance, time, and cost (Anderson et al., 2016). Within my organization, a shortest route linear application is currently being utilized to incorporate a more efficient call flow process that will positively impact our employees, members, and clients. Previously, different lines of business, which are many different employers and federal employees used to be routed to different servers and systems. Going forward, our entire business will adopt a single-server approach with updated software and hardware that will reduce IT issues, call routing issues, and enhance the clarity of sounds during calls. This will ultimately improve profitability and overall satisfaction for all parties due to it enhancing member experience, thus leading to renewed client contracts, lowering negative employee attrition, and allowing for people to have a better overall phone interaction that will allow them to better manage their health.

First, lets define what a moral hazard is. Moral hazard is the risk that a party has not entered into a contract in good faith or has provided misleading information (Moral Hazard Contemplates Unusual Business Risks That Have No Consequences, 2020). When I first thought about this question, I thought we all have done when we are hired for any job. The interview is where you get to know the company and what they are looking for. There is a risk no matter what. They do not know what kind of employee I am by looking at a piece of paper. They would have to call my references to get a clear picture of who I am, and what I can do in the workplace, they are going to have to take the risk to see if I am as good of an employee as my references or I say. On the other hand, the employer can offer lots of advancement, growth opportunities, and a pay increase. You accept the job and quickly learn that this position does not have an opportunity for advancement or an increase in wage. Both parties are putting trust in one another that could diminish the moral values of both participants.

There are many consequences to raising the minimum wage. One article I found about the consequences of increasing the minimum wage in Ukraine twice discussed the dynamics of change in the decline in living standards of population during this period is shown; measures, which should be taken for non-inflationary growth in incomes of the population (Boreiko, 2017). I agree with the results of the study indicating the many negative effects raising minimum wage has on the economy, employment, and the population size. A consideration with this study is this study took place in a corrupt government, so there are many other things negatively affecting the people who live there that have nothing to do with the government raising minimum wage twice. A consideration to raising the minimum wage is the businesses that must let go of many people because they cannot afford to pay all their employees wage. This forces out a good chunk of the working class. To protect the working class, minimum wage should not be increased. A government who keeps raising minimum wage frequently wants to destroy itself with lack of job opportunities from stingy employers. Conscious capitalism would only encourage a minimum wage increase if a would not have to fire loyal workers because of the increase in minimum wage.
Respond here:
Yes, by increase in minimum wage might leads to unemployment because if minimum wage increases then business has to invest more capital in his business and then there will be a smaller amount revenue or sometimes it may suffer from losses and then business also has to pay wage to the workers and if not able to pay then they will leave the company. I oppose with it because it will definitely result in lack of employment and somewhere also reduces the skills of employees. Other essential that should be taken in consideration should be that government should raise minimum wage rate to a minimum limit so that it do not affect the employment rate and also helps the workers. Conscious capital means operate business ethically by serving the interest of all stakeholders. It can help in producing more employment because it aims more on ethical business works and social work, so it provides employment to people with their minimum wage rate. I based myself in this article based on infant health also about the job effort and the outcomes that they received.
