Professors Instructions: In each unit and in each Zoom class, I’ll share some different children’s literature that relate to the topics in this class. As teachers, I think it’s important that we’re familiar with books we can bring into the classroom so that our students can see other children and families who look and sound like them and who have similar experiences.

b) Design and implement teaching strategies that address the development of language and literacy in two languages.
c) Evaluate teaching materials and methods to be used within a dual language setting.
d) Use and adopt a critically conscious lens to understand bilingualism, biliteracy practices, and dual language instruction that includes a commitment to challenging inequitable structures and practices.
