Why is it important for people to live in communities and have communities to support them?

In this module we are reading about communities. Catherine Latterell provides us with common assumptions about community. Sarah Adams, Shari Caudron, and Mackensie Griffen each show us in their expository essays with examples and stories different kinds of communities. As we reread their discussions, we come to experience how each community may be somewhat different. These 3 authors are each showing us aspects of the idea of community and how these aspects work in daily life.
