How many different cultures existed in that country and which one was the “ruling class” or “dominant culture” during slavery.
What goods and products were produced by enslaved Africans in that country?
For another part, please choose one characteristic from the list aboved, and answer following question:
What African traditions inform the music/dance representative of that country post-slavery and in modern times.
What are the origin stories and unique cultural makeup of this dance/music form? Who participates now in the 20th/21st Century.
Exemplify at least 4 commonalities outlined by Gottschild throughout your presentation. Each example must be from your assigned country.
