3. Follow the instructions and enter total dietary intake for 5 days. This program will analyze your diet so it is for your benefit to be honest with your intake. Upload a copy of your perceived best day and worst day as WORD docs or jpeg of the following:
a. Nutrient Report
b. Meal Summary
4. Review your Nutrient Intake and in a short essay compare your calories, protein, carb, total fat, saturated fat, vit C, vit E, Calcium and Sodium to recommended intake, also discuss what you learned from the assignment or not.
5. Write a healthy diet for 24 hours based a 2000 calorie/day diet on the dietary recommendations, include portion and/or quantity, be specific: see below for sample.
6. Include copy of your diet intake for the best day and the worst day separately.
7. Submit the word docs, essay and 24 hr diet healthy diet plan which should be about 5 to 8 pages (depending on how long your essay is).
8. Must include all components for full credit
9. must be submitted in format of word.doc/.docx/jpeg or pdf or it will not be graded.
sample 24 hour diet (be specific):
Breakfast
1/2 medium apple, 1 slice whole grain toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 cup instant oatmeal, 1 cup 2% milk
Snack: 1/4 cup raw almonds, etc. 1 medium orange
Lunch: 3 oz or 1 med grilled chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli, 2 tbsp reduced ranch dressing or reduced dressing of choice.
Snack: 1 cup fat free yogurt, 1 cup raw blueberries
Dinner: 3 oz grilled salmon, 1 cup wild rice, 1 cup asparagus, 2 tbsp butter
Snack: 1 cup light vanilla ice cream
Make sure correct format and correct reports are submitted.
