QUESTION
The Capstone Project Paper describes components of the project and provides a translation of the evidence that supports it. The paper will address the issue or problem that the project addressed, stakeholders, nursing’s role, project execution, outcomes, and responsibility including the projects significance beyond the current situation.
The paper should include 10-15 pages of content (excluding title page and reference list) and address all of the following criteria.
Note: *Scholarly works (including scholarly articles, white papers, and scholarly websites) integrated within the Capstone project paper should come from the most current nursing or related literature (published no more than 5 years ago); however, older works may be included if it is a seminal source or where there is a gap in the literature. Be sure to include a minimum of twelve (12) scholarly works in your paper. At least one (1) reference used within the Capstone project paper should come from a discipline outside nursing.

Stakeholders 10%
(Stakeholders may include patients, families, communities, nurses, members of the interprofessional team, educators, senior administrators, the healthcare organization, or other special interest groups.)
Most Affected Groups or Populations: Describe who or what population(s) was most affected by the problem and in what ways are they affected. Consider cultural and ethnical diversity, as well as other factors of diversity that may be relevant to the issue (e.g. gender, sexual orientation, age, economics, education, religion, ability, language). Relate how the literature reflects the designation of the most supported group.
Other Affected Groups: Describe other interest groups or stakeholders who may be indirectly influenced by the issue or problem. Consider factors of diversity that may be relevant to the issue.

Apply principles from one theory and explain how this theory provided a foundation that supported the project.
Define the key terms and concepts related to the project (for example: define transformational leadership).
Outcomes: Explain the project outcomes in specific and measurable terms. Use current literature to support measurement of these outcomes.
Solution: Discuss how the project provides an innovative solution to the problem or issue. Describe alternative solutions you found in the literature related to the problem or issue.

Nurses Role and Responsibility 15%
Role and Responsibility: Describe the profession of nursings role and responsibility for addressing the problem including the social, legal, or ethical considerations in providing a solution.
Support: Explain how the project supports nursings standards of practice, excellence in nursing practice, and patient-centered care.
Project Leadership 15%
Role and Responsibility: Describe your role and responsibility as leader, change agent, and member of the interprofessional team. Address the roles, responsibilities, and influence of your stakeholders, and other members of the interprofessional team.
Strategies
1.Explain what strategies were employed at project implementation and throughout the project to assure project success and address issues. Strategies may include, but are not limited to: communication, decision-making, leadership or management, systems thinking, data collection and monitoring. Translate current evidence that support these strategies.
2.Describe how systems were used to effectively promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in the organizational setting.

Nursing and Healthcare Implications: Discuss the significance of the project beyond the current application to the profession of nursing and healthcare.
9.Personal: Describe the personal significance of the project related to scholarship, spirit of inquiry, innovation, and the commitment to lifelong learning.

Consistently integrates credible, relevant sources to support ideas appropriate to the assignment. Consistently uses information in ways that are true to original context.
