• You should avoid simply describing what the text is saying. While you will need to explain the points of the text – ensure that you are doing this for a reason (to demonstrate your reflection or analysis)
• You should avoid long quotes and use quotation only if you have a strong reason for doing so.
• This is a reflection, so you can use your personal experiences. However, maintain a balanced response and support any arguments you make.
• Avoid simply stating your reaction – analyze why you have this reaction and what you can learn from this.
