The movie I chose was Moana

Re-watch the movie from the Communication Practicum Project, then describe and analyze communication in 2 scenes (do not use scenes you have previously evaluated) that best exemplify one or more of the dialectical tensions discussed in this week’s module.

Discuss the relationship between the characters in each scene, emphasizing the interpersonal relationships. Analyze the tension(s), being sure to draw from your text and cite where appropriate.

Submit your completed assignment by following the directions linked below. Please check the Course Calendar for specific due dates.

Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document. (Mac users, please remember to append the “.docx” extension to the filename.) The name of the file should be your first initial and last name, followed by an underscore and the name of the assignment, and an underscore and the date. An example is shown below:

I’m stuck on a Communications question and need an explanation.

Part 1:

Choose one of the philosophy sub-genres of business

philosophies mentioned in this week’s reading:
Financial
Then, summarize the section and explain the key points. Next, consider what rhetorical moves the sub-genre covers and explain them. Last, consider how you would write your own version of that sub-genre and write a brief outline of what you’d cover.

Part 2:
Instructions
Using the types of business philosophies used in this week’s reading of Let My People Go Surfing, make a glossary entry for one of the seven philosophy types. Choose finance as a philosophy you want to post in the glossary. For the first paragraph in the glossary, explain what the philosophy means according to your understanding, examples from the textbook, and information from the internet.

For the second paragraph, apply that to your personal life and future career. How might you write about these elements in your own philosophy? What aspects did you notice that you can relate to?
Grading Criteria
If you respond to all the questions and create a coherent entry, you will receive 4 out of 5 points. If you follow the criteria on what constitutes an A from the course description/syllabus you can receive a 5.Clinical Psychology Unit 1 Journal: nursing assignment help services
I’m working on a Psychology exercise and need support.

For this Journal, you will begin to experience the power of cognitive therapy. In cognitive therapy, the therapist and client together analyze habits of language and thinking. Then together they develop a strategy to change the dysfunctional habits. Notice that this therapy does not depend on an understanding of how and/or why a symptom developed.

One of the dysfunctional habits that affect most or all individuals is negative thought. In general, the process of changing dysfunctional habits takes a minimum of three weeks before any identifiable cognitive change takes place. Therefore, we will be keeping track of our own thoughts (you don’t need to share your personal thoughts as part of the assignment, just some thoughts regarding the process itself) and answering a few questions regarding the process of cognitive change.

Each day, you are to record at least one piece of “good news” in your life. Keep recording good news every day, for the first three weeks of class, as you will need this record to respond to the Journal questions each week(see below, as well as Units Two and Three with regard to the specific questions for that week). Sometimes it is easy to think of good news, but other times it may seem difficult. Even when you are dealing with major tragedy, you will find it helpful to stop and remind yourself of good news. There are always sunsets, roses, or the sounds of children playing; these, too, are good news. Therefore, no matter what your concerns or fears are, there is always some good news, too.

It is a good idea to record your good news at the same time of day and have a trigger to remind you to do this. For example, you might do this when you brush your teeth in the morning. Some students include their families in having each person share a piece of good news at the beginning of dinner each day.

For this Journal, write at least two full paragraphs about the process of recording good news as well as how that process may bring about cognitive change, as it is described in the reading material. In at least 250 words, please be sure to address the following:
Is it hard or easy? Does it get easier over time? Do you find that engaging in this practice has effects on other aspects of your habits of thought? What effect does this practice have on your mood and your life? How might this practice bring about cognitive change?

Management SCHOOL INFORMATION
You receive an email from a student at your former high school, asking about life at your college. Read the message below, then write a response.

To: ______From: Penny GarzonSubject: Questions About College Life

Hello _____,

I’m a sophomore at ______ high school, and I’d like to know more about California State University, San Bernardino. You might remember my sister, Marguerite Garzon, who graduated with you. She went to Ohio State University, but I’m looking at other options.

Will you please tell me how you like school and answer a few questions for me:
How difficult is the work? Is the workload much more than what we have in high school? Is it manageable if I also have a part-time job during school? How accessible are the instructors at your school? Do they have time for you one-on-one? What’s the social life like at your school? Are fraternities and sororities popular? What do people do for fun? Does your school have a debate club? I’m on the debate time in high school, and I’d like to join a club in college. What are my options?
Thanks for giving me your perspective. This will help me make a decision about whether to apply to your school.

Penny Garzon
AUDIENCE
Remember that you’re writing to a high-school student. For example, when Penny asks about the workload, tell her more than just credit load. Help her understand the difference between high school life and college life by including the hours/week requirements for a typical class load (including lectures, homework, etc.).
PURPOSE
To help Penny understand college life, be as specific and detailed as possible. Share stories and experiences that will help her gain a better perspective of life at college. For example, if you’ve scheduled an appointment with a Professor during office hours, describe it to Penny. On the other hand, if you don’t have any experience with CSUSB fraternities or sororities (and many students don’t), be sure to explain that.
STRUCTURE
Penny’s email included four bullet points in the body of her email.

Answer all of her questions. Your response should include at least six

paragraphs: introduction, four body paragraphs, conclusion. Your body

paragraphs should be in the same order as her questions.
STYLE
Be personal. Penny is a family friend. Choose a friendly, informal writing

I atached an example on the attachemtnResearch Synthesis first draft
I’m trying to study for my English course and I need some help to understand this question.

The research paper should be the full version of the paper you propose in the abstract, which should be at least a little bit related to the topic you wrote about in your annotated bibliography.

How did you get from social media presence to operations management?

I just graded both your annotated bib and abstract: please review my feedback.

I noticed a common point for improvement: you need more working knowledge of your topic. You seem to have at least a working understanding of both genres, but you’re not commanding them, yet, in a way that effectively applies those genres to a discourse community. Your topic changes really prevent you from developing the type of knowledge that you need to write an effective paper. I was really struck by the way that the second paragraphs in your annotated bib only mildly gestured at putting together your different sources into a cohesive research project, and the abstract, similarly, didn’t engage with the material beyond superficial claims and gestures about big questions that, while they might be relevant, really aren’t research informed. You’re not yet thinking deeply enough about your topic or writing to the proper audience. If your claims and statements don’t refer to specific evidence from the text and speak to *precise concerns* raised by other members of your discourse community, the final projects can’t succeed.

I’m not really sure what to tell you to do with your paper. You switched topics so radically that it’s difficult to tell which are you know more about. Pick one of those topics and write a research synthesis.

I guess I’d suggest using the social media topic since you have sources for it, but you’ll need to find an appropriate CFP and narrow your research question significantly (see feedback).

Please follow up with me. Again, I’m really busy the next few days with pressing personal matters, but I can try and offer directive feedback here and there. The most helpful thing would be for you to narrow your focus and tell me what question, precisely, you want to answer, and it can’t be so broad that you ask about “all businesses.”
