This is a reflection paper on ‘Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story,” a documentary on the man who changed campaigning in America. Keep in mind that Atwater went after both Republicans and Democrats with equal vigor. Winning was the goal –– at any cost. Was the cost too high? Recall that Atwater’s lies cost many politicians their political careers when the media failed to do adequate fact checking.

Along with your own reflections–thoughts, comments, conclusions, assessments, observations––include commentary on these issues:
Should there be campaign laws that demand truthful campaigning? Should the media be held accountable for failure to fact check on what it reports? Was Atwater ‘Machiavellian’ in the ‘truest sense,’ as was said at his funeral? Why or why not? This requires a definition of ‘Machiavellian,’ which you may need to look up. On the subject of being prepared to vote upon the age of 18, should there be more emphasis on K-12 education regarding elections so that voters will not be fooled by tactics such as negative ads (ie: Atwater’s slamming Governor Dukakis for his voting record in Congress – where he never served a single day in office)
Even though Atwater died years ago, his protégé, Karl Rove, continues the Atwater legacy – including the ‘push poll.’ Considering what you saw, and what you think about the film as both a citizen and a voter (or possible future voter), offer commentary on the various people who were interviewed:

Did you think their comments were valid and accurate?

Who among those interviewed best characterized Atwater? You must include a response to this in your answer.

Finally, do you believe that Atwater was sincere in repenting for his ‘political sins’ when he wrote contrite (apologetic) articles for newspapers/magazines and sent apology letters to those he had wronged? Why or why not? You must include a response to this in your answer.

Had he recovered from his brain tumor and lived to a ripe old age, would Atwater have gone back to his old dirty dealing ways or would he have changed his ways? Why or why not? You must include a response to this in your answer.final writing Paper for the Seminar class.
Need help with my English question – I’m studying for my class.

Hello Students,

It’s time for a final writing project for the Seminar class.

We have been reading about people who have made a significant difference in the culture/society where they lived. Martin Luther King, Jr., Malala Yousafzai, Nelson Mandela, Maajid Nawaz, the Tank Man, and Cesar Chavez all impacted the lives of people in their own place and time, but others around the world still find these people inspiring because of their positive efforts to make a difference.

Since we are living during a pandemic, I thought it would be best for you to search around for people making a difference in the world today in whatever part of the world you wanted to research. Don’t feel limited to people in the United States. I want you to discover stories of three people who are positively impacting their societies during this time of great stress. Then, I want you to connect the work of each of these people to the work of the people we have already studied who were mentioned above (King, Yousafzai, Mandela, Nawaz, Tank Man, and Chavez).

So, first look for stories of people doing positive things. Read about them from more than one source if possible. You are looking to describe the work of the person by answering the questions:

Who is the person (name and regular occupation)?

What is the person doing that is so positive for others?

Where is the person doing this work? How big is the impact they are having?

Where did you find this information? For the purposes of this paper you can just put the source of the information in a parenthesis at the end of the sentence like (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 4/27/2020 or Facebook, 4/27/2020 or NY Times, 3/13/2020). For each source, you will need to add this information.

Who do they most closely compare to of the people Dr. Donahou introduced us to? Look over the quotes from the people listed above and connect one of the quotes from the famous people we have already read about, repeat the quote from famous person, and explain how you see the two people connected. You should have a DIFFERENT quote from a famous person to connect to each of your three current heroes—don’t keep reusing the same quote college student.

An outline for the paper might look like this:

Introduction (explaining what you are doing and who you are comparing)

1 a.) Covid-19 Pandemic hero: who are they? What are they doing? Where are they doing it? Who is it impacting positively? Where did you get this information? A quote from them or someone affected by them would be great.

1 b.) Connection between Covid-19 hero and one of the leaders already discussed. Take a quote from one of the leaders and show how the Covid-19 hero is putting that idea into action today.

2 a.) A second Covid-19 Pandemic hero: who are they? What are they doing? Where are they doing it? Who is it impacting positively? Where did you get this information? A quote from them or someone affected by them would be great.

2 b.) Connection between Covid-19 hero and one of the leaders already discussed. Take a quote from one of the leaders and show how the Covid-19 hero is putting that idea into action today.

3 a.) A Third Covid-19 Pandemic hero: who are they? What are they doing? Where are they doing it? Who is it impacting positively? Where did you get this information? A quote from them or someone affected by them would be great.

3 b.) Connection between Covid-19 hero and one of the leaders already discussed. Take a quote from one of the leaders and show how the Covid-19 hero is putting that idea into action today.

I’m studying for my .NET class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

Objectives: Get exposure to ASP.Net Web Forms and GET and POST verbs and Session in ASP.Net

Description: In this assignment, you will create a web application using ASP.Net Framework to do two things:

1. Handle GET and POST requests

2. Create a Login Page using Sessions.

Although I am giving some instructions, some things can be in in whichever way you wish as long as they fit the requirements of the assignment.

1. You must include at least one Master Page. (You may use more if it makes sense.)

2. You must write this as a WebForms Web Application.

a. This cannot be an MVC application.

3. Write the code using C#.

a. If you really want to write it in VB.Net (for the learning experience). Talk to me and get approval first.

4. Avoid using build-in validation code or snippets.

a. Write all of your own validation.

5. Make sure to write all of your code to the level of quality.

a. I expect more.

Start :

You must start with an Empty WebForms Web Application. You must style and theme your assignments. You will lose points if your pages look bad/ugly. Hint: if you coded your PHP pages correctly and these correctly too. You can use the same style sheets. Remember: Always put your name and a description in a block comment at the top of your classes in your code pages.

Part I: POST vs. GET

Create a web application that is similar to what I have done at the following website: (///I will give this site later///) it will be similar, there will be a few exceptions. Your code will do the following:

1. Have a form that accepts at least three visible fields and one hidden field.

a. Visible fields: i. First Name ii. Middle Name iii. Last Name

b. The hidden field’s value will be your name.

2. Provide data back to the server as either a POST or GET request.

a. You must provide both a POST and GET option.

b. This must be done using the same form.

i. Hint: use JavaScript to change between POST and GET.

3. On a separate page or the same page, handle the GET and POST request.

a. Inform the user where a GET or POST request was processed.

b. Display the content to the user

4. All POST and GET processing must be handled in your ASP code.

Part II: Sessions

Your code needs to do the following: 1. Create a User class.

2. Create an array (or list) of user objects that contains the following users:

a. Johnny Test i. username: tester ii. password: test

b. Sally Hooper i. username: greater ii. password: tested

c. Arin Murrin i. username: starter ii. password: westward

3. Create a login page with the following:

a. UserName b. Password c. Checkbox to remember username d. Login button e. Forget Me button

4. Checks for validation of the username and password using the array defined above.

i. If login is successful:

1. Redirect to another page using the session to pass the user object of the logged in user.

2. Display the name of the logged in user using the session to get the information.

a. Use the format LastName, FirstName (username).

ii. If not:

1. Inform the user it failed.

5. Have a way to log out that destroys the session from either page.

a. Redirect after login to a page showing that the username in the session has been cleared. Note: you will need to include files as needed.
