I don’t understand this English question and need help to study.
In this discussion board, you will begin writing your Argument Essay due at the end of Unit 7 by submitting the introduction to your essay. The introduction is the opening of your essay. You want to hook the reader from the first paragraph of your essay. In order to do that, you will need to pay attention to the first sentence you use in your essay. You want to engage the readers with that sentence. Then, in the next sentences of the introduction, set up what your essay will be focusing on. Briefly, explain your topics and anything else the reader needs to know before they move into the rest of your essay. Finally, end the introduction with a thesis statement that illustrates your argument as well as your topics. Remember from Unit 3, the thesis is your main argument and the reasons (called topics) to support your argument.

I’m working on a Business Law question and need guidance to help me study.
As you learned this week, the government can enact the concept of eminent domain and “take” private property so long as it is for the “public use” and the owner is justly compensated. This concept is hotly contested and often results in a clash between property owners and the government. Developers and businesses generally like the concept of eminent domain and really attempt to stretch the term “public use” in order to expand business. In 2005 the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) decided in Kelo v. New London by a narrow margin of 5-4 that city’s taking of private property to sell for private development qualified as a “public use” within the meaning of the takings clause.
In your assignment this week please explain why the court got this correct AND explain why the court was wrong. Lastly, if you were the 10th justice how would you vote and why?

Your paper should be 400-500 words.Qualitative vs. Quantitative
I’m stuck on a Business question and need an explanation.
This assignment gives you a unique perspective to be able to look at qualitative and quantitative data. And those are both data sets that you will see as a manager, a leader that will come across your desk, and as you see these different data sets, and these results, it’s important to understand what does this mean, how do I interpret this data? So this assignment allows you to be able to go out to find research that’s both been done, qualitative and quantitative that is of interest to you within the last five years, and really be able to dissect it, really be able to compare and contrast.
Statistics is used every day, but is often ignored due to intimidation. Nonetheless, the ability to understand and interpret data is needed to be an effective Manager/Leader in the workplace to make informed, effective decisions that set the foundation for the success of an organization. This assignment provides the opportunity for you to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and discuss the pros and cons for both research methodologies.
Each student will be asked to find a recent article (no more than 5 years old) that is qualitative, and one that is quantitative (2 articles total). After reviewing these articles, compare and contrast the two different methodologies discussing how important it is for a Manager/Leader to understand qualitative and quantitative research, and interpreting the results from both studies.
Your paper should be at least 4 pages in length, excluding the Title page, Abstract page and References page. Also, your paper must follow APA guidelines and be supported by at least 3 academic sources.
What are the weaknesses, what are the strengths of doing a qualitative versus a quantitative study? What are the pros and cons of looking at these two different data sets? Cause there’s limitations with both forms of research. But this assignment allows you to be able to dig in to understand what those limitations are, or those weaknesses as well as the strengths, which is important.
And as a manger, if you get a data set that comes to your desk that’s qualitative, it allows you to understand where the quant can really come in to strengthen that data to inform your decision and vice versa. So I urge you to find two articles that are of interest to you, preferably something that relates back to your organization or your career, and make sure as you’re diving into these articles that you do find something or that you do find articles that articles qualitative and quantitative in nature, and typically you’ll be able to find is based upon, qualitative will have a survey and quantitative will have hard numbers that come from a data set.
So those are the kinda cues to look for as you start digging into the research and genre to figure out which is which.A 5 page essay aboutTo ILLUSTRATE is to use vivid examples to support your main point. ILLUSTRATION ESSAY PROMPT To ILLUSTRATE is to use vivid examples to support your main point. In a written essay, examples will often serve to illustrate a general statement (in this case, your thesis)
Based on the texts that we read, provide your own comprehensive definition of what “community” means to you and then illustrate it with examples. Your definition of community will serve as your thesis statement. You will then support your argument via textual evidence and your own vivid examples from your personal experience. This is not a research essay. Your examples should be based on your personal experiences and observations as well as the Unit 1 texts. You will cite from at least one Unit 1 text in your essay.
QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
What shapes my identity?
How do others shape my identity? Who are “we”?
What is a community? What does it mean to be a member of a community? As a member of a community, what responsibilities do I have to that community? What communities do I belong to, and how have these communities shaped who I am? What does it mean to be outside a community, to be other? Why is a community important?
