I don’t understand this Psychology question and need help to study.
The project contains four parts: two required drafts, a final paper, and discussion participation (detailed rubric will be provided).
During the second week, you will sign up for a group (Links to an external site.). Each group must select their group leader among group members by the end of the second week (Sunday, June 30, 11:59 p.m. ET) (contact each other via messages, email, telephone, etc…). The group leader must then message the Professor identifying themselves as the group leader and will be responsible in coordinating the group’s efforts and assigning tasks, as well as styling/formatting the final version of the paper.
This project is not supposed to rely on the textbook! Your research must use and cite articles from the scientific journals such as Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Merrill-Palmer Quarterly, Infant Behavior and Development, Applied Developmental Psychology, or Social Development. Please use the links under the DEP2000 Course Resources module on the Modules page to see how to reach these journals. (*** Online sources such as “education.com”, “wikipedia.com” are not valid resources and when they’re used they are detected by Turnitin automatically).
The first due date is for the first rough draft at the end of Week 2 (Sunday, June 30, 11:59 p.m. ET) and the first rough draft is supposed to include an outline of the sections covered in the paper and the assignments of each group member to the particular sections. The rough draft will be submitted by the group leader. The Assignment link can be found in Module 2 on the Modules page or on the Assignments page.
The second rough draft will be due at the end of Week 3 (Sunday, July 7, 11:59 p.m. ET). The second rough draft will be submitted by the group leader. The Assignment link can be found in Module 3 on the Modules page or on the Assignments page. In addition, the group leader will also be responsible for posting it on the Group Project: Second Rough Draft Discussion Forum so that all students can review each group’s work. You will be allowed to continue working on the paper until the final due date, however the second rough draft must include each group member’s section and each group member must have contributed at least 200 words by this point. Those who have not will lose 3 participation points automatically. Each member is supposed to use at least 2 resources other than the textbook and submit their resources to their group leaders for the group leaders to provide the instructor with them along with the final project. Group leaders are supposed to fill out the “Group Project Cover Page” and submit it with the 2nd draft as the first page of the project. The Group Project Cover Page can also be found in the Assignment. The purpose of this submission is comparing each group members’ contribution to the project in order to avoid repetition/ redundant information in different sections and monitoring your own progress as a group to help you finish the project in a timely manner.
The final draft will be due at the end of Week 4 (Sunday, July 14, 11:59 p.m. ET) and will be submitted by the group leader. The Assignment link can be found in Module 4 on the Modules page or on the Assignments page. In addition, the group leader will also be responsible for posting it on the Group Project: Final Discussion Forum so that all students can review each group’s work. Each each member is supposed to use at least 2 resources other than the textbook and submit their resources to their group leaders for the group leaders to provide the instructor with them along with the final project. Group leaders are supposed to fill out the “Group Project Cover Page” once more and submit it with the final document as the first page of the project.
Each student is responsible to produce one discussion question related to the group topic. As a group, decide which question best addresses your topic to be used in the Discussion Forum for your Topic. All questions including the one chosen by the group will need to be submitted by the group leader through an Assignment link that can be found in Module 4 on the Modules page or on the Assignments page. These questions will be published by the instructor in the discussion board during Week 5. Each student is responsible to answer at least one discussion question other than their own group’s and to respond to their classmates’ comments about their own groups’ discussion question. That means, each student has to submit at least two postings to the discussion board to earn full credit (10 points). However, extra responses will also be taken into consideration at the end of the semester in borderline grades.
Plagiarism is not tolerated and will be seriously dealt with, please use original writings and remember to cite all sources. Your grade will reflect how well your work is organized and presented; how you respond to classmates’ inquiries; and individual input.
Each group must:
Elect a group leader and email the professor the group leader’s name. The group leader will be responsible for checking proper styling of the final paper, organizing collaboration between group members and submitting drafts and the discussion questions on the Assignments page as well as posting the second and final drafts to the Discussion Forums. Each group member must contribute at least 200 words in length by the 2nd Rough Draft. Each group member must contribute at least 500 words in length by the final submission. Needs to provide accurate and clear responses to the questions provided for the project. Use APA style as a reference for in-text citations. The paper should be written as a narrative in complete sentences and paragraphs (no bullets). In order to show your understanding of the subject, use your own sentences. No plagiarism will be tolerated. Be sure to demonstrate your mastery of the course content. Your writing should be of professional quality with a decided focus, strong paragraph construction, and good grammar. Demonstrating these skills is an essential part of the assignment. Your research must use and cite articles from the scientific journals such as Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Merrill-Palmer Quarterly, Infant Behavior and Development, Applied Developmental Psychology, or Social Development. Each member has to develop one discussion question related to their group project topic. Then the group has to select one question which will be used for the Group Topic Discussions. Respond to classmates’ comments and questions on the discussion board. I will create forums with your questions to which your fellow students will respond and it will be up to you to monitor. Read your fellow students’ group project results and answer any question from any groups, comment on their data and presentation.
Your discussion participation grade will be based on the QUALITY of your response. Your postings should have a minimum of 150 words. Your responses will be evaluated based on their depth and level of critical thought. Detailed, well thought responses are required. The more in-depth your response, the better your grade. Responding with “I agree” is not sufficient and will not count as one of the four required postings. Your responses should include your own opinions with your own sentences, as well as supporting evidence from the textbook and/or other credible sources. If you use an outside source (besides your textbook) to support the ideas you raise in your responses, you must cite the reference source at the end of your response. You are expected to read everyone else’s postings. Each post builds on the other posts. By reading all posts, you will avoid repeating questions and comments. This class is about furthering learning by challenging each other to understand the material in new ways. You should be an active participant who affects the flow of the class by contributing to the class discussions. You can accomplish this by discussing what has already been discussed and building upon it. Remember that participation is a part of your grade that is within your control, and it can enhance or hinder your overall grade.

Mobile phones have transformed our lives. By allowing instant access to information, online purchases, a camera, and social media, our smartphones have become a part of our daily routines. It is imperative that businesses make online services easily accessible on mobile platforms.
Read the case study,“Has Facebook Solved the Mobile Ad Problem?”. After reading the case study and completing additional independent research using the textbook and online resources, address the following:
Research one of the following companies discussed in your textbook: Snapchat, Taco Bell, Karmaloop, 16 Handles, WeChat, Mxit, Saya, and iCow. Alternatively, feel free to research other companies.
Why is mobile computing critical to the success of an organization now? Provide specific examples to support your answer.
Respond to two of your peers’ initial posts and consider the following:
Are there any additional advantages to integrating mobile computing for a business? What are possible disadvantages of mobile computing in your peers’ initial posts?
peer one: Good evening everyone,
Mobile computing is critical to the success of an organization now due to the fact that technology is growing and changing. People use their phones to do just about everything, from mobile banking to shopping and streaming music/videos. The world is at your fingertips when using a smartphone. Mobile commerce gives organizations the opportunity to market new products and services to current customers as well as potential customers.
Taco Bell has not only incorporated a mobile app but also a new mobile-first web site. the site gives users access to more information and fasters way to order. Customers can customize orders and pay ahead of time. Other features include and nutritional calculator along with an employment section. Since majority of their web traffic is mobile-based Taco Bell wanted to make sure those consumers have a pleasant experience. So far it has seemed to pay off because they continue to experience growth with the mobile ordering app.

peer two: Hi Class,
I am doing research on AutoZone. AutoZone uses mobile computing to sell auto parts. They target individuals that are searching auto parts on social media and thru search engines. I feel technology is the way of the future and you have to be on top of current tech in order to succeed. AutoZone gives you access to millions of auto parts on the go in addition to giving you access to installation manuals. They have an app you can download and set your preferences so when you are broke down on the road you can quickly find a location and part for your vehicle. On their app and website they provide you with what locations that have the part you are looking for or if it is a special order item only. In some cases they will have the special order part available same day if it is needed quickly, I know this from a personal experience when I broke down and needed an alternator, luckily for me I was only five blocks from a store where I found what I needed online first and then went into the store to pick up the part.
Mobile computing helps in many different ways, it makes it easier for the consumer to get access to products on the go or while waiting for appts and for companies to attract new customers thru ads. It also allows for new products to be advertised and gives a report back to let them see if it is worth selling. Social Media sites are key to how companies interact with customers, just like it stated in the text, companies want to have knowledge of unhappy customers so they can right the wrong.

Assumptions About Psychological Testing and Assessment
In the unit introduction, you read about the influence that your history and previous experiences with tests may have on your perception of them at the start of this course. Remember to set aside these perceptions as you enter the course and learn about tests and their measurement. Remain cognizant of them as you proceed so they do not prevent you from learning about tests and, perhaps, change your mind, either way, about them. Additionally, in your readings from the Psychological Testing and Assessment text, you were introduced to seven basic assumptions about psychological assessment. Identify the one assumption that was the most difficult for you to accept based on your current understanding or previous experiences with testing.
In your post:
Identify the assumption by number and title that presented the most questions for you. (Include the number and title in your subject line of the discussion thread when you post it.) Also, include an indicator about how concerning the assumption is to you at this time (that is, 0 = No concern at all, just the most problematic relative to all other assumptions I am presented; 1 = Somewhat concerned with this assumption; 2 = Very concerned with this assumption; 3 = Significantly concerned and in disagreement with this assumption). Identify specific parts or elements of the assumption that were most concerning to you. Analyze if the assumption elements identified are based on (a) your previous experiences, (b) others’ perspectives, (c) facts, or (d) a combination of these. Discuss why these elements were most concerning to you in terms of those previous experiences, perspectives, or facts. Essentially, share an example of those experiences or knowledge that resulted in your current concern. Identify which future chapter in the Psychological Testing and Assessment text may be important and relevant for you, based on the assumption you identified. (Hint: Look through the Table of Contents or Index in your text for help.)
Response Guidelines
Carefully read the response guidelines regarding the two different submissions required for response posts.
Respond to the posts of at least two other learners. Attempt to identify one post that is the same as your choice and one that is different from your choice. Discuss how the content of the post is similar to or different from your post and explore how different experiences and knowledge result in different perspectives. Focus on providing facts, rather than opinion, to support the assumption being presented as concerning to them. Keep in mind that the objective of response posts is to stimulate discussion, promote an exchange of ideas, and (most importantly) to generate a sense of community among learners in the courseroom.
Learning Components
This activity will help you achieve the following learning components:
