Leadershave a primary responsibility of inspiring others towards theachievement of the desired results. Strong and successful leaders,therefore, must portray a great prowess in identifying the rightstrategies to adopt to enable the realization of such goals. In thatcase, it becomes evident that power, influence, advocacy, andauthenticity form a significant aspect of leadership (Sherman, 2018).There is no possibility of having a leader without influence since itthrough this that they show the direction for others to follow. Theleader thus must develop a positive perception and visibility, whichmakes people listen to whatever he or she says. This then makes peoplefollow and trust the leader willfully.
Moreover, a strong leaderhas to defend his or her juniors portraying a high degree of advocacywith the interest of the subjects being a priority. It also makes itpossible for the leader to remain authentic since the people naturallyenjoy having an association with the leader. The relationships built insuch situations are essential toward the building of a stronger andwinning team (Morale and Discipline). Besides, strong leaders tend toshow a high degree of power, which they do not use to diminish thedignity of the people they lead instead to create an atmosphere whereeveryone feels highly exalted and cherished. Such creates a team that iswilling to embrace the vision as shown by the leader.
