The quote by Turner states that there is importance behind why clients bring an outside prespective, and often that is valuable to the organization. In the second portion of the quote Turner then mentions the importance of integration between the members of the cleints organization and the consultee team, which holds pros and cons. Another pro of keeping our client members involved during the diagnosis process is that we can make continuous corrective actions as we go, in which the outcome will be nearly perfected. A con is that there may be a lot of finger pointing within the different subsections of the neurology department which leads us in a continuous circle, if we choose to include all client members.

A more effective route is if we observe the client members in their current routines and grasp a visual understanding on what is slowing down patient flow. Another con is that the set up of the Neuology department is not as integrated as we think. If we include the client members we will be given multiple pieces of the diagnosis puzzle, which will lead us as consultants to question what is the root cause. In specifics to our capstone, there are not many plausiable cons in allowing the client members to be a part of the process mainly because we gain much needed perceptions from each sector within the department.

Turner held quite the strong argument on why the pros outweighed the cons, I most definitely agree with him. One of the only cons that he mentioned was the possible client-consultant relationship strain when collaborating. I plan to address the diagnosis with the Neurological mangment team in our case the client, in a way that is not specifically penaltizing their leadership skills.
Rather guiding them with a solution that will improve quality for patients and client members through our contribution findings. We are able to hear what the client members deem the issue to be and there are many take aways with this information. Giving the client members the opportunity to address the issue themselves with our guidance assures effective diagnosing due to our continuous progress.
