Pay special attention to the 10 competency areas on pages of 14 & 15.
After you have reviewed the 10 Knowledge & Competency Areas, reflect on your prior employment, volunteer and academic experiences.
For EACH of the 10 competencies, discuss prior employment, volunteer and educational experiences you have had that could help you meet each competency. Be specific when discussing your prior experiences. The amount of experience that students will have in each of these competency areas will vary greatly.
Based on these reflections, list three specific goals to help you become more competent in your work with school age youth.
