As I was reviewing Martha Crenshaw’s work and following the January 6 Hearings, I could not help but to find similarities. I like Crenshaw’s work because she strives for less theory in finding solutions to the terrorism phenomena.
Summarize her article and give particular emphasis in the section “Individual Motivation and Participation.” She address items like: “terrorist personality.” is there such a thing? “Us versus them” which I seen in the events of January 6. “Analyzing these issues involves serious methodological (the way of going about gathering data) problems.” Why?
On the second article from Robert Pape his summarize his “five principal findings” and explain which ones may not be as pertinent (if so) during this current time. Your response should be no less than 400 words using APA format 12 font. Citations/sources are optional. Note class participation rubric.
