1.Week 1 assignment 100 points Use the Virginia University of Lynchburg library

    1.Week 1 assignment 100 points
Use the Virginia University of Lynchburg library function to identify another “Scholarly-Peer Reviewed” article in your area of interest. Be sure that this article is a true research article, as outlined previously. This article must be different than the one used in the discussion. Give a brief summary of the article – a paragraph or two will suffice.
Separately, identify the research problem and hypothesis (or hypotheses) in the study. Be sure to quote the research problem and hypothesis in proper APA format.
    Next, answer the following questions:
    · Did the study shed light on how to better understand or correct the research problem? Why or why not?
    · How did the study answer or address the hypothesis? If so, was the hypothesis correct? Why or why not?
    2) Annotated Bibliography Assignment
Clearly, the literature review is the foundational part of the research process. For this assignment, you will do some review of literature. Using the Virginia University Library, find five (5) “Scholarly-Peer Reviewed” articles central to a topic of your choice. These should be different than any articles you have used in previous modules/assignments. Write an annotated bibliography for these articles according to the guidance with examples and submit it in this module. Be sure to include an APA formatted reference citation for each article.
Ideally this is a topic that you may wish to use in other modules or throughout the course, but this is not required.
Use standard file type (.doc or .docx). Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or descriiption). Do not add punctuation or special characters..
Include the appropriate APA formatted reference as it would appear in the reference section of an article.
Use standard file type (.doc or .docx). Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or descriiption). Do not add punctuation or special characters.
3.)Unit Assignment – Research Problem and Hypothesis
In this assignment, we will continue to build upon the foundations laid by the readings and coursework up to this point. Using the Virginia University of Lynchburg library, find a minimum of five (5) “Scholarly-Peer Reviewed” articles central to a topic of your choice. These should be different than any articles you have used in previous modules/assignments. Write an annotated bibliography for these articles according to the guidance in examples provided in week 2. Be sure to include an APA formatted reference citation for each article.
Based upon your findings on your topic, write section 1 of a research proposal (as outlined in Chapter 5 of the book) to include the research problem and hypothesis (and applicable guiding research questions). The section 1 text should be included in the same document file as the annotated bibliography.
    4.)Writing a Statistical Hypothesis
As mentioned in the text, there is a difference between a research hypothesis and a statistical hypothesis. In your own words, describe the difference between these two types of statements and when each is to be used in research. Then write a null and alternate hypothesis for a research problem you may be interested in addressing through statistical analysis. Lastly, comment how probability (p-values) are used in statistical analysis. Your response should be a minimum of 400 words.
Use standard file type (.doc or .docx). Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or descriiption). Do not add punctuation or special characters.
Ideally this is a topic that you may wish to use in other modules or throughout the course, but this is not required.
Use standard file type (.doc or .docx). Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or descriiption). Do not add punctuation or special characters.
    5)Assignment
    Qualitative Annotated Bibliography
For this assignment, you will undertake a review of different types of qualitative literature. Using the Virginia University of Lynchburg Library, find one (1) “Scholarly-Peer Reviewed” article that used each of the following research methods (for a total of five [5] articles):
    · Case Study
    · Ethnography
    · Phenomenological
    · Grounded Theory
    · Content Analysis
Try to choose articles of interest to a topic of your choice. These should be different than any articles you have used in previous modules/assignments. Write an annotated bibliography for these articles according to the guidance in activity 2.6 and submit it in this module.
Do not add punctuation or special characters.
    6.)Assignment Planning a Mixed-Methods Study
Using the topic you used (and feedback you received) in activity3.5, revise your approach to utilize mixed-methods. Identify the research questions and hypotheses that you would explore and explain how you would conduct the necessary research to address them. Be sure to discuss how you would handle validity concerns as well as triangulation.
Your response should be a minimum of one (1) page (size 12 font, double spaced), not including title page, tables, figures, and references.
Use standard file type (.doc or .docx). Save your assignment using a naming convention that includes your first and last name and the activity number (or descriiption). Do not add punctuation or special characters.
    8.Assignment- Final Proposal
    Final Proposal Activity
This assignment is meant to piece together all of the contents of this course in the form of a comprehensive research proposal. It is paramount that you establish a research problem based upon the existing literature and provide ample background information in the form of your literature review. The descriiption of your methodology and how you plan to execute it should be detailed and highly specific. Remember, anyone should be able to pick up your proposal and know exactly what you are going to do and how to address the research problem. Also, anyone should be able to replicate what you propose to do based solely on your document.
Use the following guidance to gain a sense on the level of detail required for this assignment:
    · Title page (see APA Chapter 2) – 1 page
    · Abstract (see APA Chapter 2) – 1 page
    · Introduction (problem establishment) – 1 to 2 pages
    · Literature review – 3 to 5 pages minimum
    · Hypothesis – 1 to 2 paragraphs
    · Method (research methodology) – 2 to 4 pages
    · Summary – 1 to 2 pages
    · References – As many as needed
    · Appendices (outline/timeline) – As many as needed
