1. Reading Logs (20%)
There are 5 scheduled reading logs for this summer semester. Reading logs are a 2-page written assignment. The first page is a summary of the student’s choice of article. Students chose any article discussed in the readings assigned for that week. The second page is a reflection/reaction to the material. Answer questions such as, “did I know about this topic before,” “how does this topic relate to my life in any way,” “what are some critiques of the reading,” or “overall, did I enjoy this reading selection and why or why not”? There is a reading log rubric posted to the class BlackBoard page. Reading logs are due on Fridays by 11:59PM CST.
