    The County of San Diego is currently looking to fill two Management Fellow positions in the
    Office of Equity and Racial Justice (OERJ). These positions are unclassified management
    positions that will play a key role in helping the Director achieve the departments objectives
    and goals.
    Management Fellow – Executive Office
    This Management Fellow for the Office of Equity and Racial Justice (OERJ) will support the
    Director, OERJ in collaborating with trusted community organizations and establishing more
    equitable and accessible services, programs, and resources for all.
    Management Fellow – Human Relations Commission
    This Management Fellow position will provide direct support to the Office of Equity and
    Racial Justice as well as support for the San Diego County Leon Williams Human Relations
    Commission
    Both positions require a culturally responsive individual who values and can leverage San
    Diego County’s racial, cultural, and religious diversity to advance the County’s commitment to
    an equitable and inclusive region. The selected Fellows will undertake work that emphasizes
    government and community partnerships that focus on advancing equity and racial
    justice in the community by promoting an environment where everyone can live well,
    learn, hope, age, be safe, and thrive. The Fellows will gain experience in leadership, project
    management, finance, communication, and evaluation. This position is designed to give
    future leaders a strong foundation and provide an enriching opportunity to better understand
    public service.

    The Office of Equity and Racial Justice was established by the Board of Supervisors to identify
    systemic bias within the County organization. The County of San Diego’s commitment to
